Although this series of books is written to correspond to the "Yamaha Band Student" series, it is ideal for any set of intermediate musicians. Each of the wind books provides three melody lines, the first could be used as a solo part, the second adds a harmony and the third adds a bass line. The percussion book provides optional parts for keyboard percussion, accessory instruments, snare drum and bass drum. The piano accompaniment can be added to help fill out any instrumentation mix. So, regardless of the instrumentation you have, just pick up the appropriate books from this series and give it a go.
